Our Mission
The mission of the Molina Band is to achieve the highest standards of music education and music performance, facilitate the musical enrichment of the student membership of Molina High School and its feeder schools, promote the place and value of music in our community and the significant role music plays in the cultural, intellectual, and social lives of our students; foster fellowship and goodwill among its members, and provide its membership with opportunities for personal growth and leadership.

Meet the Staff
Mr. Christian Rodriguez is the Director of Bands at Moises E. Molina High School in Dallas, Texas. At his previous school district, his duties included directing the CMS Honor Band, CMS Percussion Ensemble, Fine Arts Coordinator, assisting Canutillo High School Marching Band and Hillcrest High School band (Dallas ISD). Under his directions, his band programs were consistent 1st Division bands in UIL. In addition, as head band director at Canutillo Middle School, the honor band got the opportunity to audition to perform at Carnegie Hall. An audition that they passed and got to perform and compete in Carnegie Hall (New York City) on April 2019.
He holds a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of Florida. He is currently working on his Doctorate Degree in Music Education at Liberty University. In December 2019, he was named as one of "50 Directors Who Make a Difference" by the School, Band, and Orchestra Magazine to represent the state of Texas. He is married to a beautiful wife and father to two beautiful teenagers. |
